Affiliate broker Holly James has been a licensed REALTOR® in the Memphis area since 2018, following successful careers in teaching and in TV advertising sales. Originally from Arkansas, Holly has called Memphis homes since her family moved here in 1991.
Holly’s previous work experience helps her leverage the power of education and partnership to achieve a client’s goals.
“I aim to first listen and understand a client’s real estate desires before putting together a plan to help them get there,” she says. “I strive to provide custom service that helps my clients sell or buy a home that is as unique as they are.”
Real estate comes naturally to Holly as her grandfather was a broker. Plus, prior to getting her license, Holly bought homes to renovate and resell. In doing so, she became very familiar with the intricacies of the real estate process – knowledge that she now leverages to the benefit of her clients.
In terms of joining Marx-Bensdorf, Holly notes, “The first thing I noticed was how friendly all the agents and staff are to each other, to our clients and to fellow agents at other firms. They make everyone feel welcome and that is the very feeling I want to relay in my dealings with clients and colleagues alike. I’m thrilled to have found my new home at Marx-Bensdorf.”
Holly is a proud member of the Memphis Association of REALTORS® (MAAR). She earned her undergraduate degree in social work from Columbia College.
She and her husband live in East Memphis and have one daughter who is a student at Rollins College.
